Cool Tunez DJs employ only high end commercial-grade equipment and our
ongoing investment in this good stuff costs big money. Don't
let anyone kid you. If the rate you are quoted is below average,
then it's very likely that the equipment they are using is not of
commercial-quality, like ours is.
Our systems are
digitally formatted, either MP3, CD or both.

Also of great
importance is the appearance of our sound systems. Our equipment
set-ups are very streamlined and compact. We
avoid
sprawling all over the room with sound systems that
resemble that of a Hip Hop concert.
Components are neatly rack mounted, speakers are of the proper size for
the venue we're in and you'll never see loud and excessive banner
advertising or signage.
We perform at some of
New England's finest function facilities, so we
realize how important it is to keep the equipment low key
to maintain the ambience of the room. |

Something else many people don't consider is the
technical ability of the operator they are about to
hire. Anyone can buy a violin, making it work
is another story. A skilled DJ engineers a
smooth flow from one tune to the next. Perhaps
matching the beats, but never letting songs fade out
to "dead air". |

The
DJ may need to push buttons and move slider volumes
as he is speaking and otherwise running the show.
To coordinate all of this well takes practice,
practice, practice. We here at Cool Tunez have had decades of practice on-the-air at stations across New
